Meet Dr. Gardner

Dr. Tim Alan Gardner is
a licensed mental health professional who has been helping couples save their marriages and experience
marriage to the fullest for two decades. In addition to his counseling practice, Tim serves as an Associate
Research Fellow on Family Issues with the Sagamore Institute and as an Executive Coach for professionals in a
variety of industries. He also provides psychoanalytic services for various companies as well as
not-for-profit organizations. Until recently he served as an Adjunct Professor of Graduate Counseling at two
universities but had to resign due to demands on his schedule. Tim is a nationally recognized teacher and
author on marriage and family relationships, publishing three books, a major premarital curriculum, a healthy
relationships for business curriculum entitled Winning the Workplace Challenge, two DVD
resources, over twenty magazine articles and several journal works. He is a sought after conference and
seminar speaker as well as a frequent media guest.
Dr. Gardner is considered one of the leading authorities on creating healthy workplace
relationships, having conducted marriage and healthy relationship seminars for a variety of corporations, including
one Fortune 200 company. His work in the corporate environment has been featured in the Wall
Street Journal, USA Today, and the Indianapolis Star newspapers.
In addition to his eBook, Save Your Marriage: Proven Principles for Stopping the One You Love
from Leaving, Dr. Gardner has written two books that have been published internationally with Random
House/WaterBrook: Sacred Sex: A Spiritual Celebration of Oneness in Marriage, and The Naked
Soul: God's Amazing, Everyday Solution to Loneliness.
Previously, Dr. Gardner served on the pastoral staff of a large church in the Midwest for over 12
years and was the founding Executive Director of a successful multi-staff counseling center in the
Indianapolis area. In his early working years, Tim did everything from build houses to manage a cattle
ranch as well as spent time working on the family farm and in the family restaurant
business.
A native Texan, Tim has earned a Bachelors from the University of Texas, a Masters from Liberty
University, and a Doctorate from Anderson University (and for fun he earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, along with
his two boys). He and his beautiful wife of 21 years make their home in Indiana with their three
teenagers.
